New Holland T4000F narrow tractors are ideal for orchards or vineyards. Three models combine outstanding power and maneuverability with the narrow width, lower center of gravity and sleek design you need when working in the tight rows and close quarters.


T4000F tractors build on the performance and reliability of TNF-A Series narrow tractors with improvements in technology and styling:
Cab height is 5.2 inches less for easier travel below branches, now that the air conditioner condenser is under the hood.
Open operator station features a mid-mount rollbar that can be folded down in low clearance areas while on stable terrain.
The distinctive New Holland "cat's eye" lighting illuminates front and side for better visibility in fog or darkness.


Four-cylinder, 195- and 274-cu. in. engines operate at a low 2300 rpm for added durability and low noise levels. They are turbocharged and intercooled for maximum performance and fuel efficiency, providing up to 39% torque rise.


The powerful T4000F hydraulic system has two separate open-center hydraulic circuits to ensure full flow for operating implements, three-point hitch and tractor functions.


Select from three smooth-shifting transmissions:
16 x 16 Synchro Command™ with a synchronized mechanical shuttle
16 x 16 Synchro Command with a clutchless power shuttle
32 x 16 Dual Command™ with a clutchless power shuttle.


The SuperSteer™ FWD axle (standard on 4WD models, optional on all others) is a New Holland exclusive that provides a 76-degree turn angle for the shortest row-to-row turning in the industry. SuperSteer also includes a Traction Management System that engages FWD only when needed.


An economical 2WD front axle is also available, if you work in conditions where front-wheel drive is not required.


The T4000F operator station provides exceptional comfort and visibility. Select an open operator station with a foldable, mid-mount rollbar, or choose the all-weather cab with two doors, air conditioning, heater, and deluxe air filtration.


Service points are easy to reach, saving you time and hassle.


Switchable 540/1000 rpm PTO allows you to run a variety of implements. The PTO operates independently of the tractor driveline. Hydraulic servo-assist PTO engagement provides for low-effort PTO engagement with feathering capability.


Engine


Underneath the smooth lines and sloped hood of T4000F tractors resides impressive power. The four-cylinder, 195-cu. in. engine on the T4030 and T4040 and the 274-cu. in. engine on the T4050 rise to any challenge with smooth, responsive power. These engines are Tier III emissions certified and are approved for biodiesel blends up to B100 (must meet ASTM 6751 standards).


With impressive torque rise-up to 39%-T4000F narrow tractors handle heavy loads and tough conditions easily.


Engines are turbocharged and intercooled to provide maximum performance and fuel efficiency.


A heavy-duty, cast iron engine block and a dry-sleeve design provide longer service life than competitive wet sleeve engines, without the risk of coolant contamination.


The low 2300-rpm rated engine speed reduces noise, vibration and extends engine life.


A cross-flow design pulls air in from the right side of the cylinder head and expels it on the left side. Intake air remains cool and dense, resulting in superior combustion and maximum power production.


A premium Bosch rotary fuel-injection pump and five-hole injectors provide precise fuel metering and delivery into all cylinders.


A 19.3-gallon fuel tank capacity provides for long operation between fill-ups.


Large 120-amp alternator is standard on all T4000F tractors.


Transmission


T4000F transmissions use high-precision helical cut gears for quiet operation and provide the convenience of a left-hand, in-line forward/reverse shuttle lever. A 16 x 16 Synchro Command™ transmission with mechanical shuttle is standard equipment, or choose from the two power shuttle transmission options: a 16 x 16 Synchro Command or 32 x 16 Dual Command™.


The 16 x 16 Synchro Command is available with a mechanical or power shuttle. This transmission is ideal for a variety of jobs, offering eight speeds in the 2- to 8-mph working range, as well as three gears below 1 mph for low speed applications.


The 32 x 16 Synchro Command transmission with power shuttle provides double the speeds for added versatility. This transmission offers a convenient push button on the shift lever that gives you a high/low shift for each forward gear. The powershift is available on-the-go, under load, and without clutching. The low speed provides a 20% speed reduction at the wheels with increased torque, allowing you to power through tough spots or gear down to match crop conditions. The 32 x 16 transmission provides a total of 16 speeds in the 2- to 8-mph working range and seven gears below 1 mph.


A low 0.31-mph speed on either transmission is great for slow-moving jobs like harvesting.


A synchronized, left-side, in-line forward/reverse shuttle is featured on all transmissions. This allows you to use your right hand to maintain implement control.


The clutchless, electro-hydraulic shuttle on the 16 x 16 power shuttle and the 32 x 16 Dual Command transmissions makes forward/reverse shifts virtually effortless. The shuttle lever is mounted on the left side of the steering column and allows you to keep your hand on the wheel while shifting from forward to reverse. It saves you the hassle of frequent clutching and reduces wear and tear on the driveline.


A mechanical differential lock (2WD models) allows you to lock the rear axles together for extra traction on-the-go with a foot pedal. The differential lock automatically disengages when it's no longer needed, or you can manually disengage it by tapping a brake pedal.


An electro-hydraulic differential lock for both front and rear axles provides maximum pulling power on models equipped with SuperSteer™ FWD.


Hydraulics


Two hydraulic gear pumps are used in two separate open-center hydraulic circuits for T4000F tractors. One pump supplies the remotes and three-point hitch. The second pump supplies flow for other functions, including dedicated flow to the steering and for axle and transmission controls.


A standard 12.8-gpm implement gear pump feeds the remote valves and three-point hitch on the T4030F and T4040F.


A larger 17.2-gpm implement pump is standard on the T4050F and available as a factory installed option on the T4030F and T4040F tractors. It's also standard with the optional power shuttle transmissions and includes a hydraulic oil cooler for increased cooling capacity.


A dedicated 7.2-gpm gear-type steering pump allows for precise, low effort steering, with no flow loss to the tractor's main hydraulic system.


An upgraded 9.2-gpm steering pump is used for models with the optional power shuttle transmissions.


Up to three rear remote valves (two are standard) are available and feature deluxe, quick-release couplers for "under pressure" connection.


A dealer-installed two-function, mid-mount valve kit with joystick is available for front-mounted attachments. The two mid-mount valves are standard equipment on T4050F tractors ordered with the front three-point hitch and PTO.


Optional front three-point hitch and front 1000-rpm PTO are available for the FWD T4050F. The front hitch and PTO are electronically controlled and allow you to handle multiple tasks with one trip between the rows.
SuperSteer™ FWD Axle


Remote valve lever controls are located to the right of the seat and the handles are color-coordinated with the caps on the valve couplers at the rear of the tractor-so you're always sure you're using the correct lever.


A 4,045-pound, SAE-rated three-point hitch lift capacity allows you to take full advantage of the largest implements for maximum productivity.


A Lift-O-Matic quick-lift feature on the three-point hitch allows you to raise or lower implements with the push of a button-a convenience not found on competitive-brand tractors. Preset the raise height and operating position for effortless control.


Lower link draft sensing is standard. You can operate the hitch in draft control mode, position control mode, or a combination.


Operator Station


The comfort and convenience of T4000F tractors makes you more efficient and productive. Exceptional visibility and controls that are simple to use put operators at ease and in control.


Non-cab tractors feature an open platform design with an adjustable vinyl seat and mid-mount rollbar that folds down for operation in areas with low clearance.


The CAN BUS electrical system offers an improvement in function and reliability. It allows for the new ADIC (Analog Digital Instrument Cluster) on the dash, which provides the operator with critical information and warnings.


The extra-roomy, optional cab provides all-weather comfort with an adjustable thermostat that controls heat and air conditioning. Cab amenities include a deluxe seat that is fully adjustable, with optional air suspension, and two wide-opening doors.


A deluxe cab air filtration package with a high capacity, cab pressurization motor helps to maintain high air quality inside the cab. The main, fine mesh pollen filters clean air coming into the cab. Additional filters in the recirculation vents continuously clean the air inside the cab.


Service


Daily service checks on T4000F tractors are quick and easy, allowing you to stay on schedule.


The CAN BUS electrical system provides one, single connection point for diagnostics. This system also allows you to read error codes for the dash, transmission and Auto FWD directly from the dash.


The convenient, flip-up hood opens easily and is supported by a gas strut.


Engine oil can be checked or topped off on the left side of the engine, without raising the hood or removing a side panel.


A single dipstick at the rear of the tractor allows you to check the oil level of the transmission, hydraulic and steering oil reservoir.


Ample fuel tank capacity of 19.3 gallons keeps refills to a minimum. The fuel fill is easy to reach from the ground and is located at the front of the tractor beneath the hood.
